Abstract
Nel corso del secondo Novecento la letteratura minoritaria italiana fiumana si è trovata in una situazione sociopolitica particolare, dove non solo non venne apprezzata ma anche oppressa dal governo socialista. Invece di accettare la situazione politica opprimente, scrittrici della letteratura minoritaria italiana femminile decidono di dedicarsi a conservare e tramandare la cultura fiumana a generazioni future, inserendo nelle loro opere chiari riferimenti all’anteismo. Le scrittrici, comunque, riflettono il quotidiano dalla prospettiva femminile. Nonostante le donne fiumane abbiano storicamente goduto di particolare autonomia e libertà sociale, invidiabile da altre culture occidentali, le autrici fiumane ritrovano sbocchi e spazi in cui la situazione femminile potrebbe ancora migliorare. Questa tesi in primo luogo rifletterà sull’anteismo presente nella produzione delle autrici fiumane e sul suo significato nell’ambito della letteratura italiana a Fiume. Nella parte centrale saranno analizzate alcune liriche scelte delle tre poetesse fiumane, Nirvana Beltrame Ferletta, Tiziana Dabović e Laura Marchig, al fine di evidenziare aspetti particolari del oro attaccamento alla realtà natia e alla questione femminile.
Abstract (english)
During the second half of the twentieth century the Italian minority literature of Rijeka found itself in a particular socio-political situation. The minority literature was not only unappreciated but was also subjected to oppression by the socialist government. Instead of accepting this oppressive political situation, women writers of the Italian minority decided to devote themselves to preserving and passing down the italian minoritarian culture of Rijeka to future generations, inserting anteic symbols in their works. However, these writers did not abandon the aspiration of writing about everyday life from a woman’s perspective, dabbling into feminist topics. Although Rijeka’s women have historically enjoyed particular autonomy and social freedom, enviable from other western nations, these authors recognize fields where the female situation could still improve. This thesis will firstly explain the term anteism and its meaning for the Italian minority literature in Rijeka. The central part of the thesis will analyze verses of three poetesses from Rijeka: Nirvana Beltrame Ferletta, Tiziana Dabović and Laura Marchig. This will be done in order to discover the connection between woman emancipation and the native land.
