Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja je ispitati odnos sociodemografskih varijabli, ITM, dimenzija percepcije bolesti i tjeskobe zbog srčanih problema kod pacijenata s koronarnom bolesti srca. U ispitivanju je sudjelovalo 128 pacijenata s koronarnom bolesti srca (ukupno 84 muškaraca i 43 žene) koji su bili na rehabilitaciji u Thalassotherapiji u Opatiji i Kliničkom bolničkom centru Rijeka. Primijenjen je niz mjernih instrumenata kojima se se nastojale obuhvatiti relevantne varijable koje ulaze u dimenzije percepcije bolesti i tjeskobe zbog srčanih problema te simptome anksioznosti i depresivnosti. Rezultati pokazuju postojanje statistički značajne razlike u simptomima depresivnosti pacijenata različitog obrazovnog statusa. Odnosno, najviše su depresivni oni ispitanici nižeg obrazovnog statusa, dok su najmanje depresivni oni višeg obrazovnog statusa. Kao značajni pojedinačni prediktori izdvojili su se obrazovni status, dimenzija kontrole tretmana bolesti i strah od srčanih senzacija kao jedna od dimenzija tjeskobe zbog srčanih problema. Zaključno, utvrđena je medijacijska uloga dimenzije straha od srčanih senzacija u odnosu između kontrole tretmana bolesti i simptoma anksioznosti/depresivnosti. Nadalje, ustanovljena je i medijacijska uloga dimenzije straha od srčanih senzacija u odnosu obrazovnog statusa i simptoma anksioznosti.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this research is to examine the relation between socio-demographic variables, BMI, illness perception dimensions and anxiety caused by cardiac problems in patients with coronary heart disease. The survey included 128 coronary heart disease patients (84 male and 43 female) during their rehabilitation in Thalasso Wellness Center in Opatija and Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka. A number of measuring instruments were applied with the aim to encompass relevant variables in perception of disease dimensions and anxiety during coronary problems, anxiety and depression. The results show statistically significant differences in patients with depression in relation to their level of education. The highest level of depression was found in patients with lower levels of education and the lowest levels of depression in patients with higher levels of education. Education, dimension of disease control as a dimension anxiety symptoms during coronary problems were found as significant individual predictors. Conclusion of this research is that dimension of fear was found to have a mediation role in the relation between treatment control and anxiety/depression symptoms. Furthermore, dimension of fear also had a mediation role in the relation between education and anxiety symptoms.
