This thesis conducts an analysis of three theories from the disciplinary field of sociology, psychology, and psychiatry. Firstly, the sociological theory of symbolic interactionism according to George Herbert Mead is examined, followed by a detailed analysis of two role theories. The first of these is Erving Goffman's theory, notable for its dramaturgical analogy and contribution to the transformation of the sociological theoretical approach to everyday life. Subsequently, there is an examination of Jacob Levi Moreno's role theory in the fields of psychology and psychiatry, which integrates sociological concepts and components. By studying these theories, their interconnection has been established, facilitating a comparison between them in the subsequent sections. The objective of the study was to demonstrate how two key role theories complement each other and enrich the understanding of everyday life and identity construction through their examination. Analysis and comparison have affirmed the complexity of everyday life and indicated that daily life is an area that provides an opportunity for the integration of various disciplines, perspectives, and approaches in defining it, encompassing diverse ideas. The complexity of everyday life facilitated the integration of perspectives from other authors and research, whose ideas contributed to substantiating the objectives of this study.
