Abstract
Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Untersuchung der Virtual Linguisitic Landscape auf den Facebook-Profilen von Hotels in Opatija, einer kroatischen Küstenstadt mit langer Tourismustradition. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf den Sprachen, die die Hotels benutzen, um mit den Mitgliedern ihrer Web-Community auf Facebook zu kommunizieren. Die Untersuchung umfasst zwölf Facebook-Profile, die 23 Hotels repräsentieren. Alle offiziellen Beiträge, die im Jahr 2019 geteilt wurden, werden nach Sprache, Inhaltsart, Texttyp und Art der Informationsordnung kategorisiert und anschließend kommentiert. Es wird primär davon ausgegangen, dass häufige Touristensprachen wie Englisch oder Deutsch einen wichtigen Anteil am Sprachenbestand haben werden, aber dass auch Kroatisch als Landessprache eine wichtige Rolle spielt.

Cilj ovog rada je ispitati virtualni jezični krajolik na Facebook profilima hotela u Opatiji. Fokus je na jezicima koje hoteli koriste za komunikaciju s članovima svoje web zajednice na Facebooku. Studija je obuhvaćala dvanaest Facebook profila, koji predstavljaju 23 opatijska hotela. Sve službene objave, koje su objavljenje 2019., kategorizirane su po jeziku, vrsti sadržaja, vrsti teksta i vrsti rasporeda informacija. U istraživanje se ušlo s primarnom pretpostavkom da će strani jezici poput engleskog ili njemačkog zauzimati najveći dio jezičnog krajolika, no da će i hrvatski zauzimati bitnu ulogu u komunikaciji.
